Not That Way

Not That Way is a game developed for GMTK Game Jam 2020 (#gmtkjam) under the theme "out of control." The goal is to get the blocks with points. It would be an easy game, if the arrow keys would just work; this game is out of control because the arrow keys change behavior. At first, they work as expected; W-key goes up, S-key arrow goes down, and so on and so forth. Just before you get your first point, the keys' behavior will change, and challenge you to reach as many block as you can.

It's tricky - the outline at the bottom of the game show the key position on the A-W-D-S keys; their content show the direction in which the movement will take place.

How to play:

1. Use your mouse and activate the canvas by clicking on the game area
2. At first, use the keyboard keys W (for going up), S (for going down), D (for going right), and A (for going left)
3. Keep using the keyboard keys W, S, D, and A, but keep an eye on where they're heading.
